This amazing and very rare shaped Art Deco gin cabinet was made to order as a statement piece for a living room in a lovely villa. The client contacted me in August looking for something like the blue Magnolia drinks cabinet I had done. He explained what he was looking for and I went on the hunt for him.
Finally I found this gem of a piece!! – pure 1930s Art Deco with those sexy sleek curves and amazing walnut burr grain doors. Walter fell in love with it just as much as I did!! So we bought it and a week later I went over to his house to discuss colour schemes and designs. It was gorgeous already but they wanted something more modern looking for their interior.
Of course the colour scheme needed to match their living room interior but in particular their bespoke art work on the wall. So it was decided – a subtle mix of Smokey blue, echinacea highlights highlights and a muted yellow interior. Completed with new mirrors and a clever little motion sensor light that comes on when you open the top!
